Saddlers Chase is well placed for reaching a range of everyday destinations on foot. The main walking routes from the development are via The Avenue and Rose Hill Rise, providing connections towards Bawtry Road and the surrounding Bessacarr area.
The footbridge between The Avenue and Rose Hill provides another useful connection towards Cantley and Bessacarr. This offers a convenient route to destinations including local schools, Cantley Health Centre and bus stops on Ascot Avenue and Cantley Lane.
A separate pedestrian connection to the north-east of the new homes leads to public footpaths through the surrounding fields. Although it does not provide a direct route to key local facilities, it offers opportunities for leisure walking, running and dog walking.
Several useful destinations can be reached relatively easily on foot. The Dome Leisure Centre is around a 10-minute walk away, ASDA can be reached in approximately 15 minutes, and Bessacarr Primary School in around 20 minutes. Doncaster Racecourse, Cantley Health Centre and several other local schools are approximately 25 minutes away.
