Rail Season Tickets

If you regularly make the same journey by train, perhaps for your commute to work, a Season Ticket could help you save money compared with buying individual tickets.

Season Tickets allow unlimited travel between specified stations during their period of validity. You can choose from weekly, monthly or annual tickets, depending on how often you travel.

If you travel less frequently, perhaps because you work from home for part of the week, a Flexi Season Ticket could be a better option. These provide eight days of travel within a 28-day period, with no need to choose your travel days in advance.

The best option will depend on your journey and how often you travel. Not all ticket types are available on every route, so it’s worth comparing the options before buying.

Use National Rail’s Season Ticket Calculator to explore the options and see how much you could save.
